Rest – Relaxation – Rejuvenation – Restoration
Back in Vancouver after a weekend getaway to Bowen and my heart is full. I started planning Meditation in Motion in April. I had a vision, a balance of running, yoga, mediation, and organic homemade holistic meals served with beautiful Italian Umbrian wine. Last weekend it all came together. It was an amazing group of like-minded individuals looking to getaway, relax, connect with nature, practice yoga, meditation, Run, and enjoy new company. The weather Gods cooperated and we even had some sunshine on Saturday. Kate created a beautiful organic, vegetarian, holistic, homemade menu. Kate kept everyone satisfied and asking for recipes. Nectar Yoga B&B was such a warm welcoming space. Our Fire Leader kept the living room cozy and was able to start the most amazing backyard fire for our fire ceremony. We threw in the fire all, which does not serve anymore and took away what lifts the spirit.
Shelley taught beautifully sequenced yoga classes to open up the weekend and create space for everyone to investigate meditation and what it means. Shelley elegantly threaded meditation in and through the whole weekend seamlessly.
We practiced running drills and ran around Killarney Lake. It was so nice to take in the open space, and amazing trails. Some of the group ran part of the run, some ran the lake, and others ran all the way home. There was something for everyone!
